“with Clare all kinds of unexpected
magic things could happen
and they usually do”
21st September 2025 Salon 1: The Tangled Mythology & Stories of our Hair -
10am -1pm in person at Pocket Cafe Liverpool with additional hair workshop 2-3pm at Lush Liverpool incl free hair gift.
Swoosh into our salon full of strands and stories — where we’ll trace the tangled mythology of our hair across time, culture, and memory. Together we’ll explore the history of hair and hairstyles, how they’ve shaped and signified identity, rebellion, belonging, and becoming. Through playful creative exploring we will make space for your hair to retell its stories….watch this space for juicy guest speakers.
28th September 2025 Salon 2: The Evocative Alchemy of Perfume
10am -1pm in person at Pocket Cafe Liverpool with additional perfume workshop 2-3pm at Lush Liverpool incl free perfume.
This week we drift into the invisible power of scent. With guest speakers steeped in the magic of perfume, we’ll explore how fragrance moves through our lives — whether we’re scent-lovers or scent-averse. We’ll hold space for the perfumes that catapult us back in time, to lovers, kitchens, childhood, grief, or joy — and imagine the perfumes that might carry us into futures yet to come. This salon is a scented archive, a place to tell your stories through the nose, and reclaim scent as spell and memory.
4th October 2025 2-5pm in person Salon 3 : Deep Diving into our personal Adornment Narrative and How we want to show up in the world
This tender hearted deep dive prepares us for the photoshoot session that follows the next day. We make brave space for exploring how we want to tell our own story through imagery and photography. We look at our own mythologies, hopes, fears and the possibilities of seeing ourselves in kind, powerful ways through a different lens.
5th October 2025 10-1pm Salon 4 Diving deeper photoshoot
In this final salon, we invite you to step deeper into the photo frame — as we witness ourselves through a deeply brave and magical view. This is no ordinary photoshoot. It’s a deepened seeing, a playful and gentle space to explore how we show up in the world and how we want to be seen. Whether this is your first step into self-expression or you came to our last semester and want to continue deeper into the unfolding, you’ll be held in creativity, care and celebration. Come as you are, leave with a portrait of who you’re becoming.

Clare Jasmine Beloved
Mistress of all things Juicy and Gorgeous
Artist / Poet / Writer / Clothes Textile Designer / Therapist and Arts in Health Specialist/ Irreverent sista/ founder of the Bad Lesbian Widows Club
My life is a big, deep and juicy creative offering. My art is full of large scale lush goddesses, magic mermaids, sensual sistas, and sacred imagery, symbolism, story and feelings. My work is also translated into limited edition textile ranges in silks and velvet as well as a beautiful jewellery range.
My ground-breaking creative work has been funded by Arts Council England, and our large-scale creative projects have been rolled out through Public Health, NHS and Primary Care Teams, as well as schools, prisons and probation services.
I have lived through my own painful depressions, broken hearts and dreams, and difficult experiences. In 2021 my beloved wife Sandra died after a two-year intense battle with stage 4 breast cancer. I’ve found that grief is an intense magical teacher. I believe all our experiences and vulnerabilities can shape us into more compassionate human beings, willing to open our hearts more deeply and risk a wildly beautiful creative life.

Anthony Wong
I am a multi disciplinary artist and radical storyteller.
Working from the Bluecoat Arts Centre in Liverpool, exhibiting and selling internationally my work spans jewellery, sculpture and conceptual art, merging the deeply personal with the universally resonant..
I’m of Chinese heritage and have a deep connection to journeys of migration. Completing my Masters at The Royal College of Art, and winning a trip to Shanghai encouraged a step change to a more radical communication of my art. I have won Goldsmiths Awards and was supported by Arts Council England to do a 597mile journey, meeting new collaborators.
I make larger-scale conceptual exhibition pieces, drawing on themes of heritage, belonging, and the power of objects as emotional touchstones.
Delving deeply into memory, I breath new life into treasured pieces through radical redesigning and remodelling. Using all precious and non precious materials, creating vessels of history, wearable relics of identity and legacy.

Participation in Adornment does not grant permission to teach, reproduce, or share the materials publicly or commercially.
This course is lovingly priced to be as accessible and sustainable as we can make it. We acknowledge times are really hard for so many people. 95% of our work is with marginalised communities and with people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access. We offer flexible payment plans and early bird pricing to support different needs. If you want to apply for a pay what you can price please email us. If you have the capacity and it’s possible, consider choosing the higher tier to support our work and fair pay for the immense time, energy and magic poured into this course. You can also pay towards someone else’s place who would otherwise not be able to come- people have offered this in the past and it’s beautiful.
Your place supports not only your journey, but pays fairly for the time of creatives, content creators, people who offer videos and modules and all involved and allows us to continue this work in the world.
Alchemy, Radical Self-Expression & the Wild Threads that Connect Us
I am excited to offer this gorgeous new journey into wild self-expression, where we invite you to tear up rules and outdated ways of being and free yourself up for something far more expansive.
Meet new mates & be part of a creative community
I adore creating communities and I am mistress of weaving people together in playful connections that often transform into juicy lifelong friendships and opportunities. Since Covid many of us have met in person less. As an introverted neurodiverse human who lives with PTSD and who gets anxious in groups - I make sure I create diverse options for joining in and make as safe and welcoming a space for everyone. Take part in whatever ways work for you and there are options galore - this is for you to experience in your way.
Step into a juicy colourful juicy explosion of colour and kindness.
The world is feeling really grim and hard right now for so many—we can’t control that, but we want to turn a small corner of your world radiant.
Connect with others in playful ways
Think of this as your invitation to play, dive in, disrupt your own limitations, adorn, and delight in the way you show up and through connecting and sharing creatively with others - help others see themselves in new ways too.
Open up your mind & heart to new ways of thinking & challenge your own status quo
This is for anyone who has ever felt boxed in by expectations, who wants to wear outfits that feel deeply expressive and magnificent but has felt held back, anyone who wants to feel more fully, beautifully, radically themselves. Get ready to unleash your style, honour your creativity, and sashay through summer like the boldest, brightest, most untamed version of yourself.
See yourself differently - fall in love with you and out of love with old patriarchal beliefs
We will drench ourselves in artistic, outsider & queer icons, challenge gender norms, pull faces at the patriarchy, and imagine dressing for comfort, joy, healing, and unapologetic selfhood. This is not just a course—it’s a juicy, nourishing, irreverent portal against the overculture, the boring, and the expected. A celebration of everyone’s brilliant way of showing up in the world and the stories we weave.
Gift yourself time out from the mundane and invite in nourishing magic
Through six weeks of deep exploration—colour, texture, identity, personal mythology, and the radical act of dressing—we’ll weave magic, medicine, and transformation into what we wear.
