This Could Be For You If…
• You feel curious about your sensuality but don’t want anything to do anything performative, exposing, or pressured.
• You dont want to go on a full on tantric course or something openly sexual, but you do want a safe, tender space to explore your sensual self.
• Life has been heavy - grief, illness, cancer, heartbreak, trauma, hard times and you feel disconnected from your body or your senses.
• You feel worn down by the grind of life and want to bring a bit more juice, pleasure and curiosity back into your days.
• You’re interested in exploring sensuality through creativity, music, food, movement, art and the senses.
• You want a space that acknowledges the realities people carry — trauma, racism, poverty, queerphobia, chronic illness, neurodiversity, grief — rather than pretending sensuality exists in a vacuum.
• You’ve worked with me before and loved it, and want to keep exploring together.
• You’ve never worked with me but have been meaning to, and something about this feels like a yummy place to begin.
• You like the idea of tiny daily invitations that take just a few minutes but can shift how you feel in your body and your life.
• Something in you feels curious… even if you can’t quite explain why.
Why do this work with me
I have 30 years experience as a respected therapist, space holder, facilitator and community builder working with thousands of people.
I’m offering this work because sensuality has always been my life force. I’m a deliciously sensory person. I experience the world through delight in touch, taste, scent, sound, colour.
I have experienced deep grief after a long cancer journey and death of my wife and know how this can impact our identity and our experience of the world and also what a profound impact repairing our relationship with sensuality can be for grief and trauma.
I know that for many people - connection with self gets numbed and lost over time. Not because there’s anything wrong with us, but because life happens. Grief, chronic illness, cancer, heartbreak, poverty, relationship and childhood abuse, discrimination, trauma, the sheer grind of surviving in the world impacts us.
The messages we receive about whose bodies are desirable, how sensuality should look, whose pleasure matters and whose doesn’t are powerful and can cause us to shrink. Little by little, unless we hear different narratives - it begin to feel like sensuality is something that belongs to other people.
I am not holding this space as an expert with a set of rigid beliefs or techniques to teach you. I am a fellow wobbly human who has skill in creating space for people to connect to themselves and create brave community with others. I know how to ask great questions and hold space for the answers to reveal themselves,
My work over 30 years has been evaluated independently and received funding from NHS, Arts Council England and hundreds of community organisations. I’ve worked within severe and enduring mental health settings, with survivors of abuse, within dementia settings , with cancer patients, young people in care and in domestic violence.
I am creating a space that is gentle, creative and trauma-aware, where people can explore sensuality in their own way. It isn’t a full on tantric retreat, it happens in your own time and space, you decide what’s right for you and you trust yourself to go at your pace. Nothing is exposing or performative. It is a slow, kind, juicy, powerful, tender invitation to help you reconnect with the juice of life.
This work is for all bodies and all humans. All genders and sexualities are welcome. The space is queer led and we celebrate and feel privileged to be in community with our trans family.
If the cost is stopping you attending please let us know and we can work out a payment plan that works for your budget. We give a small number of bursaries on each course.
So if you feels interested and curious - and/or you feel scared, wobbly or a bit lost in it all - you’re very welcome to enquire further or to sign up and come and explore with us.
Why I am passionate about this space
I’ve explored and searched for different spaces over the years, and some of them didn’t feel safe or enjoyable for me.
The boundaries have often felt unclear, no safe container and an emphasis on getting naked or showing our bodies without considered consent and options.
The spaces were held within a narrow heterosexual, white, able bodied, framework.
The ability to express our sensuality has been seen as existing within an individualistic vacuum and healing it as our responsibility alone.
I want to be in spaces that speak of the wider realities and lived experiences people come with - trauma, racism, poverty , homophobia, inequalities, chronic illness, neurodiversity, grief and how important community and collective healing is within a culture of power, privilege and patriarchy.
Our relationship to sensuality does not exist in a vacuum. We live inside a culture that constantly sends messages about whose bodies are valuable and whose are not. A culture that privileges: thinness, straightness, whiteness, able-bodiedness, youth and traditional masculinity. Many of us carry deep messages about shame, unworthiness, or not belonging. This exploration gently acknowledges those realities — and invites us to step outside the over culture for a moment. To listen again to the deeper intelligence of the body. To reclaim our sensual lives in ways that are kind, playful, curious and self-directed.
This course grows out of a desire to create something gentle, grounded, trauma informed, queer friendly and socially aware which offers people a real choice about how to explore their own way of being and experiencing sensuality.
What People Say about working with me

"Clare is just a babe from Bootle who has discovered her magic. She walks the walk. The course did more for me in one weekend than three months of sex therapy ! Clare is magical, yes, but she is grounded too - she doesn't have all the answers, but she sure knows how to ask the right questions.”
— Alison Clare
-
"Clare has a special kind of magic, a way of encouraging you to laugh wildly whilst bearing your soul, a way of putting you at ease whilst challenging you, a way of bringing out your own magic. She has helped me unleash my creativity and my bravery and I found myself and new friends along the way. I cannot say enough what a fundamentally life changing weekend this was for me."

"Accessible, Magical and Transforming Do it! The Juicy enquiries, creative tasks, in-depth searching, is all much more than I had hoped for. I wanted to spend more time with Clare who is wonderful. It is helping me to connect with my inner intuition and emotions. You will learn things about yourself that you did not know. A privilege which I am still pinching myself that I am lucky enough to experience. It is about opening yourself up in a way you never have before. It really is the most loving and open space you could ever imagine yourself in. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
