Welcome Space

This retreat is open and welcoming people of all genders, sexualities, identities, and bodies.

I am a queer and neurodiverse facilitator who offers different ways of taking part in the community spaces and workshops.

We actively support and celebrate our queer and trans communities.

The venue is on one level and has a lift to an accessible toilet.

What will the timetable be like ?

There will be a gorgeous mix of deep juicy morning circles and profoundly beautiful, creative workshops as well as optional spontaneous wild swimming, time for reflection, poetry, group and individual work as well as spacious free time to nap, integrate, process , to get a massage and too mooch around the shops and galleries. Evenings will mostly be free with optional meet ups and a candle lit gathering one evening.

Will I be ok coming on my own ?

Most people come on our workshops alone and we set up a what’s app group before the retreat so I you can connect and ask questions or check in if you are lost on the way ! It is often peoples first time travelling on their own and people find it gives them confidence to travel alone more and a way to gain a whole group of new friendships some that can last a lifetime. We are big hearted nurturing souls and if you feel wobbly you will probably be in good company and you will be looked after in safe hands.

Costing & Payment

We try to keep the costs of our retreats as low as possible while offering something that feels special too. We offer flexible payment plans which can spread over the year. We also do a range of sliding scale payments where possible. We have some partial bursary rooms over at the booking page which are subsidised by Clare - and if you want to offer a contribution towards a bursary also let us know. Most of our work has taken place in marginalised communities and has been free at point of access for people in financial need - although this is currently not possible on these retreats - we dream of a day when it can be.

You chose a beautiful space close to the coast near the point where the seas meet and mingle in Cornwall. You wove your juicy magic amongst us all, creating a bond that has lasted until the present day. Your presence was the catalyst for personal reflection and spirituality. You sprinkled the dust of the eons and witnessed people unfurl and shed their burdens. It was a coming together of disparate souls who found within themselves and each other a potent soul connection.

Catherine Reynolds

“I went on Clare's mermaid retreat quite nervous and having no idea what to expect - I'm so glad I did! So many beautiful experiences fitted into such a small time, new friendships made, deep realisations, belly laughs and of course creative inspiration. The retreat both nourished and challenged me in ways that still resonate years later. I highly recommend it to anyone ready to dive in…’

“Your belly laughter carries the lost dreams of us all .”

Janet Wilkinson

I first spent time in south west Cornwall in my early 20s. It is a soul place for me. I always return full up and go straight to the canvas to paint and poems flow freely. I have been bringing people here in groups for thirty years and it’s always a juicy portal for deep creative transformation. I love the mix of sacred sites, selkie magic, beautiful food, colour drenched galleries and jumping in the healing salty sea- this retreat will bring all the most amazing things together in a delicious package for you … come and make new connections with the land and a group of brilliant new friends ”

“Clare is a force of nature!

Her down-to-earth style and deep wisdom is guaranteed to leave you transformed, empowered and opened up in ways you won’t have thought possible.

Expect to be guided so gently away from your safe paths and set patterns that you won’t know it’s happening until you arrive somewhere completely new within yourself!

I cannot recommend her workshops or the mermaid retreat highly enough - just go”. J Frank
