You may have "Women Who Run with the Wolves" going dusty on your shelves but struggle to read it on your own (or perhaps you’ve never even heard of this book, you’ll still be welcome!)

  • You would love to explore fairy tales with others in a deep, supportive, juicy way

  • Your life needs a wild shake up and you are hungry for some creative magic to help in the process

  • You need reminding how perfect you already are in all your raw, realness and permission to be even more YOU

  • Retreat classes in person are difficult to get to so an online option is a gorgeous alternative

  • You feel like life needs a wild shake up and you are hungry for some creative magic to help in the process

  • You struggle to connect with your intuition and want to finally trust yourself and your inner knowing despite society and our upbringing sometimes telling us otherwise

  • You want to find a place where all your feeling and expressions are honoured, to get away from spiritual bypassing and find a place where you don’t have to be nice, good, acceptable or calm all the time!

  • You’ve become disconnected from your creativity and want to reconnect to yourself

  • The course strives to be as inclusive as possible, everyone is welcome to apply and we especially want to let people know that we provide a warm safe welcome to people with gender identities which are different to that assigned at birth and/or their sexual identity being other than heterosexual. Some of the language of the book we work from is of its time but we seek to challenge that as we move through the stories and offer juicy alternative possibilities.

  • The course is not for you; if you want to teach this programme, it is not a train the trainers and the material is for personal use only. This is part of the agreement of signing up for the journey.

Clare trained with Dr. Estes, author of Women Who Run With The Wolves, at the Archetypal and Cross-Cultural Studies Institute in Colorado. This means she is one of the few hundred people with permission to facilitate these stories. She will be offering some powerful insights from Dr Estes’ teaching for using this book as a therapeutic medicine. Clare has been facilitating beautiful year-long Women Who Run with the Wolves courses in-person for 6 years. She brings 28+ years experience as a therapist, artist and creative group facilitator to weave much deep diving and irreverence of her own. The journey is Clare’s own twist and take on these and other stories and the practices we weave here are her own from her creative and therapeutic body of work developed over 28 years.

Sarah Starrs will be helping with the tech side of the course and also offers her experience of movement, meditation, and embodiment practices alongside her own brand of life and online wizardry to support the programme with her reassuring smooth, sassy energy. As a mama, Sarah knows how difficult it can be to fit this kind of introspective work into our full, busy lives and will be offering practical tips and encouragement for finding space for this circle.

You will be introduced to a sparkling cast of wild story characters who you will come to love and understand how they are all a part of you…

What is the time commitment each month?
We believe that if you set aside one hour each month to read the story and watch the video, that you will get a lot out of taking part in the circle.

But equally there is so much material and inspiration you could spend hours and hours of diving deep, spending time each day on creative writing and journalling, interacting in the group, reading the stories and recommended links , and exploring the nourishing corresponding practices.

How much time you put into this is truly up to you. We understand that your time is precious and can feel like a scarce resource. We will aim for each monthly video to be under 30-minutes and everything else that we share will be bite-sized tidbits so that you can fit it around everything else you have going on. There is no minimum commitment needed to join.

What do I need to take part?
You’ll need :

  • a copy of Women Who Run With the Wolves,

  • Internet access

  • a journal and pen

  • space to create an altar each month (even a tiny box can be wonderful for creating a portable altar)..

What if I can’t afford to take part?

We sponsor 5 partial bursaries and alternative payment plans - we currently have a waiting list for these options please enquire by email and tell us a little of why you are interested in taking the journey.

We acknowledge that austerity has a great impact on people’s income and also our funding.

We aren’t funded for this work so any bursaries given or discounts are subsidised from our personal income.

We don’t want anyone to not come because of financial hardship but we also ask that you don’t ask for discount unless you really cant afford to come, not just because you’d rather use the money in other ways as this stops us offering the places to people in real need and distress.

Clare is a creative activist committed to her work reaching the most vulnerable people in communities. She offers a large proportion of her time to groups of local women and girls at risk at her own expense.

Have a question that’s not answered here? Send us an email and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
